Two Executive Boxes. One Seamless Refurbishment.

Deanhouse Group were contracted to refurbish two executive boxes at the Etihad Stadium, each with their own character and purpose, but both demanding the same level of quality, precision and attention to detail.

We delivered Boxes 34 & 36 as full turnkey refurbishments, translating design intent into finished spaces that are ready for high-profile media events and relaxed matchday hosting.

Each box was shaped around its intended use. A new space, Box 36, was put together as a VIP room, suited to press conferences, partnership events and premium hosting. Meanwhile, Box 34 took a different direction, with a more relaxed, sociable setting focused on flexibility and easy matchday use, defined by its distinctive blue cabinets.

A single, coordinated programme.
Managing both projects as part of one programme allowed us to coordinate efficiently across the two spaces. This allowed us to maintain consistent quality while respecting the individual designs of each box, from site set-up to decoration, flooring, lighting and more. Both refurbishments were delivered with the same turnkey approach.
Bespoke joinery.
Joinery was central to delivering the character of each box. For both boxes, Deanhouse carried out technical design and precision manufacturing to provide bespoke elements that would meet the design brief. This included the standout blue cabinetry that helped to give Box 34 its own distinct appearance.
MEP & electrical works.
Our electrical works across both boxes included the reconnection and relocation of socket positions and the provision of new power supplies for fridge and dishwasher appliances. But that wasn’t all, we also installed new light fittings and installed a new air conditioning unit on the plant deck.
Collaborate delivery.
Throughout the project we worked closely with the interior design firm to ensure the finished spaces were faithful to the original designs. Regular communication and a shared commitment to quality meant that any challenges were resolved quickly, and both spaces were delivered on time and on brief.

The Result

The completed refurbishment delivered two executive spaces that are distinct in character but connected by quality, both enhancing Manchester City Football Club’s hospitality offering in different ways. Whether hosting a major media event in Box 36 or hosting an informal matchday experience in Box 34, the club now has two premium environments that reflect its ambitions. Both premium environments are the result of full, turnkey refurbishments, supported by precision manufacturing.
