As one of the UK’s leading rugby union clubs, Leicester Tigers set out to elevate its matchday experience through a major upgrade to its premium hospitality spaces at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium. At the heart of this wider refurbishment programme was the creation of a new Chairman’s Lounge, designed to transform a former club shop into a sophisticated environment for up to 70 guests.
Partnering with Benchmark Creative Design & Build – specialists in commercial interior design and build with over 16 years’ experience – Deanhouse Group was appointed to deliver the space, balancing high-end finishes with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and creating a seamless connection to premium halfway line seating.
Technical delivery
Working with Benchmark, our CAD team refined the design and produced detailed manufacturing drawings, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to production.
Bespoke joinery
All joinery was manufactured by our in-house team using 5-axis CNC machinery. Key features included a bespoke bar, servery units, oak joinery, Tristone worktops and slatted wall and ceiling details, all finished to a high standard.
Live environment
Works were carefully planned around matchdays, with full coordination of trades and logistics to ensure minimal disruption within the operational stadium.
The Result
The finished lounge delivers a refined, high-quality space that enhances the matchday experience.
