Deanhouse Group designed, manufactured, and installed a highly bespoke oak balustrade staircase with acoustic wall panelling for a busy college. The stairs required review and approval by a structural engineer to ensure they could safely accommodate heavy student traffic and comply with current building regulations.

What We Did

Safety & Compliance
Fully assessed and signed off by a structural engineer, the staircase is designed to withstand high footfall while meeting all relevant regulatory requirements.
Curved Staircase
The stairwell’s curved profile demanded precision joinery cladded onto a reinforced metal framework for added structural support and a sleek, high-end finish.

The Result

The completed staircase is both striking and robust, ideally suited to a busy educational environment. The combination of bespoke oak joinery, acoustic wall panelling, and engineered support resulted in a space that is safe, functional, and very visually impressive.
