Deanhouse Interiors New Management Article

We are delighted to announce that Deanhouse Interiors has transitioned to the capable leadership of Neil Addyman. The business acquisition was finalised on the 4th of September, 2024, with Neil transitioning from Operations Director to Managing Director of Deanhouse Interiors.

Neil brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in the construction industry for over 16 years. He began his career with a hospitality design and fit-out firm in 2008, gaining valuable experience and completing a construction management degree alongside his day-to-day work. He then studied for an MBA focused on business management, furthering his personal and professional growth. Neil worked his way up within this company from project manager to operations manager and then to operations director, where he stayed in a director role for over six years.

Neil joined Deanhouse in July 2022 with a view of supporting the company’s growth and as part of a succession plan from the previous owners as they looked to plan their retirement. Over the next two years, he learned the business inside out, helping to grow the client base, increasing staff numbers, and driving turnover from £1.8 million with 12 employees to nearly £5 million with 22 employees this year. Before moving to Deanhouse, Neil had a long-standing connection with the business, having worked with them as a subcontractor for almost 13 years. This meant he already knew the company well and was aware of its capabilities.

Since stepping into his new role as Managing Director, Neil has ushered in remarkable growth across the board, increasing turnover and expanding the team. He helped implement a new CRM system to streamline enquiries, made significant investments in new equipment, strengthened the client base further, and doubled workshop capacity by leasing additional premises. In addition, he has been a keen advocate for employee development, bringing on two new apprentices and creating growth opportunities through internal promotions.

Looking ahead, Neil aims to maintain the growth trajectory to develop a robust and sustainable business. He plans to keep the momentum going with continued investments in new equipment and technology to keep Deanhouse at the forefront of the industry.

These are exciting times for everyone here at Deanhouse Interiors. We appreciate our team’s efforts and our clients’ continued support during this transition period. We can’t wait to see what the future holds with our new MD at the helm!
